CaffeineMonsterGreat podcast, sadly cancelled.Wonderful podcast. I'm very sad they pulled the plug so the artists could move on to other projects. It was always a joy when this (as well as TechStuff) popped up on my playlist. Now I have to fill the void with other Stuff podcasts. Definitely worth listening to even though there won't be any new episodes covering current events.

Wayne HinkinPodcast ListenerPerhaps too late since it's been decided to halt production of this Great Podcast but ... Jonathan, Lauren and Joe are among the best of the great talent at HSW, not to mention the industry. Their collaborative chemistry, exceptional research, effective and entertaining communication styles made Fw:Thinking among my most looked forward to Podcasts. While I know theyāll continue to produce great video and audio pieces at HSW and externally, Iāll actively seek them out to enjoy their work, Iāll personally (along with many others) Greatly miss this particular Podcast. Great topics, Great personalities, Great work ā¦ Thanks for all youāve done and will do. Be well and enjoy!

Clumsy DIY-erThe best futurism podcastI love the hosts, they have great dynamic, and they provide tons of info about each topic they cover. The only downside is that i'm not the biggest fan of Jonathans voice (sorry dude!) but i'm not going to hold that against the podcast.

Tonks KittygothI love FW:Thinking!!!This is my favorite podcast! I love the topics and the fresh way the hosts take up sometimes daunting subjects. I also love the charismatic, knowledgeble, curious, and sometimes silly hosts. I have contacted the show through its email, and the hosts are always freindly and helpful. I hope someday they go on tour like How Stuff Works.

CatieDayLove Fw: ThinkingI'm a huge fan of all the How Stuff Works podcasts, and have recently "discovered" Fw: Thinking. I love it. I love the hosts. And I love the topics. For me, the material can be a bit dense but they do a good job explaining it so I usually leave the topic feeling enlightened rather than confused. I also love how often they have hosts from other podcasts on the show. It's not my go-to because tech and science are not my strong points, but if I'm on a long road trip, they're always there for me!

JothgrarGreat info, but tries too hardI love the subject matter of this podcast. I have always been obsessed with futurism and this podcast provides great insights into the possibilities coming to us down the line. My only qualm is the delivery can sometimes be painful to listen to. The host Lauren Vogelbaum seems obligated to give a disingenuous fake laugh at every pseudo-joke that is thrown out there, which can become very grating after a while considering there are a lot of terrible jokes thrown out. Donāt get me wrong, the bad jokes are part of the charm of this show, it just gets to be quite perturbing when fake laughter is a once-a-minute occurrence. I find myself laughing occasionally, and I can see they are trying to keep this very tech-heavy podcast interesting with some humor, but they really donāt have to try so hard. That being said, this show explores some amazing topicsāI would love to see how they do their research because so much of what they discuss seems to be out of the mainstream eye. Give it a listen and see for yourself. If you enjoy futurism and can stomach the often cringe-worthy humor, this podcast might be for you.

Blah4555Fantastic PodcastI have been listening to Techstuff and Forward Thinking for years. This is absolutely worth listening to if you are curious as to what the future might hold.
-
bakerbaker1111Great discussion showThis is a great geeky podcast that discusses fun things I enjoy and usually does so with a good amount of more technical details. The hosts clearly have worthwhile expertise and thoughts to share, unlike other podcasts that talk more about the surface level of topics on technology and science.

wallflower152Can't Take it AnymoreLove all HSW podcasts so I feel bad even giving one a less than 5 star review but I can't take it anymore. Jonathan and Joe clearly hate each other. They make passive aggressive jabs at each other and Jonathan tends to interrupt Lauren and Joe and seems to like making them sound stupid which I'm sure they aren't. I love the topics for these shows but please HSW, make some changes with the hosts. I don't have such a hard time listening to Tech Stuff because Lauren and Jonathan seem to like each other enough but it seems redundant to have them on another podcast that covers many of the same ideas. Five stars for the concept of the show but two for its fun-to-listen-to-ness.

LippoldtskivichVery engaging podcastThanks! I especially like the video episodes, which deliver information in an accessible manner... New concepts conveyed in a concise format. Well done!

*DCBGood premise...I love the premise and the subject matter but Strickland is without a doubt annoying. It's like he can't go 30 seconds without correcting the other host or cutting them off mid sentence to name drop some really obscure "insert geek reference here" to try and pump up his own ego. We get it, you know stuff, now let someone else speak.
-
rlpstpaulTalking over each otherI love the content, but really...why do so many podcasts have three (or more) participants? This podcast is a perfect example of where much of the time they are 'talking over each other'...ANNOYING.
-
ChinchillahConstructive FeedbackContent is super interesting, but I find the host, Jonathan Strickland, a little condescending towards his co-hosts at times. He seems to thrive on remaining the center of attention, and almost always has the last word. My suggestion would be to study the amount of airtime each participant has, and take measures to balance out the equation.

Farlin PaulinoPretty well doneIn always checking the podcasts app just for this. Keep the good work.

actualthoughtThe internet of thingsā¦no traffic?Hopelessly naive, not forward at all. Just listen, and think about the fantasy conclusion.
-
Sinverguenza24Great Start! Sounds promisingJust started listening and so far so good! I prefer the longer episodes but I'm very much looking forward to all the interesting subjects they could potentially explore.

KittyBoi101Totally Awesome Podcast! This podcast gives you a glimpse of how the future might be in different ways. One of my favorite podcasts of all time! I recommend it to everyone! This podcast is a must listen!

betweeneiffel'slegsA really fun way to get smarterThe best radio shows and podcasts center on intelligent, thoughtful conversation. This American Life, Comic Book Guys, whatever the topic, it's the discourse, really, the ums and comments that prove these are not people reading from cue cards, but rather talking to each other. Fw:Thinking is like that, first of all. Real conversations between three intelligent people. Already that makes it a winner for me. More than that, though, the topics of this podcast are fascinating in and of themselves. Each time we start with a bit of hard science, a concept that is in development or early stages of use, and then these guys take off, swapping potential uses for this technology, day-dreaming about how it could change our lives... this podcast captures the part of science that is so hard to really get to, when good, measured research meets dreaming and imagination. It's refreshing to hear speculation about the future that's not all doom and gloom. This is a really fun way to get smarter.

GreenApple00000I like the ThinkingMy friends don't believe when I told them that many weird things are becoming possible. Can you guys do a podcast on somethings in the book "Physics of the Future" by Dr. Michio Kaku. Great Podcast, listen to it.
