The other TedSome insightInteresting commentary on “Apocalypse Now”. But I was turned off by the misogynistic digression about hunting women. Gross.
-
DudefukyaToo farI love this podcast and was I fine with the controversial statements until that Weinstein joke in the Good Will Hunting podcast. It doesn’t matter if great films came out of the company if it was at the expense of women’s comfort and involved sexual assault. Those were gross comments. I know this podcast is over and done with but just a warning for others.

Herr LarsenNot very informative, but fun.Needs more F bombs and gay jokes.
-
mr_too_tired_to_thinkProfanity and HomophobiaF bomb after F bomb and gay joke after gay joke. Never getting to a point and just entertaining themselves. I'm sure they have their fans but I'm not one of them.

Noah2428Fantastic Show!Great Show. Lotta’ laughs and interesting dialogues. Keep it up gang and thank you very much!

McGiggleBunnyAlways entertaining, frequently thought-provokingI got introduced to LSG Media through their Recommissioned (Battlestar Galactica) podcast, and eventually wandered over to this Science Fiction Film Podcast. I’ve listened to early podcasts and later podcasts and I’m never disappointed. LSG media has entertaining commentary that frequently changes the way I look at movies that I’ve known for decades. I’m still working through their backlog of movies, but I’m loving every episode.

NinjatsaatLoved this showMy absolute favorite movie podcast. Great commentary and analysis but honestly the feeling that you are rewatching a movie you loved with some of your funniest friends is simple an experience potential listeners shouldn’t miss out on. The transformers and predator episodes absolutely killed me, I recommend those to anyone trying to get a gage on how explicit the content is. Cant wait to hear the new podcast, the lost drive in, and see what you’ll be covering next. Thanx for the great content!

*Mannaz_Thurisaz_Sowilo*Thank You!Thanks for so many years of excellence! Looking fed to the “Lost Drive-In” podcast!!!

LadderWrightFunny as hell!Dean, Matthew and the gang are even more entertaining than this one time, at band camp...

Matt in MemphisNever listening againI recently downloaded The Witch episode, hoping to get in-depth insight on the movie. Unfortunately I had to turn it off within a few minutes after the hosts used several gay slurs while describing the main character. C’mon, guys, you should be better than that. While they claim that their usage of such language is all in good fun, let’s take a step back and break this down: Why do you feel it’s necessary to use words like “homo” and “faggotry”? Clearly you’re using it in a derogatory manner and as a put down. Is this the type of negative energy you want to put out into the world? You have a large platform to entertain and provide interesting, thought-provoking conversations and this is the best you can do? Sorry, guys, but I won’t be back.

Uncle money bagzzzlow brow basic bro downI just revisited a few of daniel villeneuve’s films and in looking for some other perspectives came across this scifi film podcast; they did Enemy and 2048. The hosts on this pod have a strange collective propensity to drop pointless f-bombs and generally bring very little to the table. Further, they’re dumb enough as not to know that Villeneuve is from Quebec Canada, not France. The director of the film you’re reviewing. truly moronic. Besides that, the the hosts bring a very dumbed down point of view and spend 90% of the pod cast talking about what they like or don’t like, and pointless tangents as if that brings us to any better understanding of the work being reviewed.
-
USMC3037DisappointedI tried to listen to the last starfighter podcast. It’s true, that movie has not aged well, but all they did was make fun of it to the point it was just tedious. Won’t be listening to their other podcasts.

grodrickLove itGreat podcast
-
QfanChrisYeeeessssThey're doing Chernobyl yeeeeeesss First episode of their take on the HBO show was excellent. Can't wait to hear their take on the other episodes.
-
Fivebifive79Male gazeGross objectification of women. Just talk about the movie not if the lead actress is "hot" and you'd do her. Ugh please, male chauvinist pig.

holden415ReviewThis is without a doubt my favorite podcast in the podcast world. It takes a lot to make me laugh but these guys have me in stitches. When they get going I notice my face hurts from smiling because they are so funny. Also there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that you would never know. It feels like your watching the movie with your best friend when you listen to the podcast

Digital Green ThumbThe BestListening to this podcast is like hanging out with your best friends right after seeing a movie. Dean & the crew hit all of the high notes, tell it exactly as they see it, and still manage to leave room for differing opinions. I have laughed until my sides hurt during episodes and gotten some great insight that I hadn’t considered on movies I thought I knew well. If you haven’t listened already, it’s time to check it out.

Drayton Holmes# 1 Movie PodcastI discovered the Science Fiction Film Podcast in 2018. My first episode was their coverage of Commando. Been hooked ever since! Dean and Matt are hilarious together. Their humor and chemistry is matched only by their tremendous insights into the films they are covering. It’s a smart, funny, and unique podcast. 5 stars—you won’t be disappointed. Become an Illuminati member to support the great entertainment value they provide!

Jerome Vernell Jr.My favorite movie review podcastYou guys are my favorite film review podcast. Seriously. I’ve listened to quite a few podcasts and hands down, you guys kill it every time. I LOVE the balance of humor and in depth reviews.

VladiLockeSubscribe now ya big dumb kids! The flagship podcast, baby! Don't be fooled by the name, these boys (and gal) cover films of all genres and they do it oh so well. This is, without a doubt, my favorite podcast. Great in-depth movie coverage, funny jokey jokes and laugh 'em ups, and insightful takes on movies from all decades. You know a movie podcast is great when it's a solid listen even if you have no intention of watching the actual movie being covered. It's just a great show and conversation among friends. If you enjoy movies, getting your film nerd on, and welcome a bit of colorful commentary, subscribe to the SFFP now dagnabit! And yes, they swear. Big deal. Don't complain about the language after you download a podcast with an E tag, ya bunch of dumb dumbs.

MegaGearMaxDean and Matt are commentary gold!Great podcast by Deam and Matthew! I love their commentary! Their Nightmare on Elm Street 3 podcast had me laughing uncontrollably at work! It took several minutes to compose myself when I was hearing them talk about how Freddy was conceived!
-
audrey_eSmart, Funny, A Great Podcast!Besides being an incredibly well-made podcast where listeners get to listen to good friends have great conversations about SCI-FI movies, this podcast has made me laugh out loud more times than I can count. Truly, the episode discussing Rogue One had me cackling on the train. Keep up the awesome work, thank you!!!
-
SpaceMonkeyShitKickerGive Pee Pee Touch his due!Great podcast. Funny and wrong all at once, just the way it should be. I like that the host’s love for movies, Sci fi or otherwise, is apparent from the start. I listen to this at work all the, And usually can be heard laughing in my area. Thankfully, I haven’t been fired. Yet.
-
robowskiPerfect Movie PodcastI've been listening to podcasts since 2005 and out of all the different show's I've listened too I would rate LSG in my top 5. When it comes to movies I'd rank LSG as my #1 movie podcast. The show is funny and knowledgable. To top it off the quality is great and the chemesty is even better! I highly recommend this to anyone who loves their movies and TV shows. Mostly Sci-Fi but also covers some of the greats. If your not sold yet I'd recommend looking through the list of episodes and try not to get excited by the epic movies they have covered so far! Great work guys and thank you for a excellent show and getting me pumped up about watching some older shows again!

Neckbeard McGeeQuite enjoyableOne of the few podcasts I listen to regularly. Dean and Matthew have great repoir. Definitely enjoy it when Jess and Josh join too though they're on the show less frequently. And unlike virtually every other movie podcast out there, the hosts are not SJW, PC, white hetero guilt apologists. Which is a breath of fresh air. In general, they pretty much just leave politics out of the show. I wish every podcast did that. Anyhow, I'd reccomend a listen, with the caveat that you are not an easily offended SJW snowflake. You'll probably need to retreat to your safe space if you are.

Christopher from VAFun and UnpretentiousThese are reviews and analyses from people who know what they're talking about but don't let it get to their heads. They enjoy movies as entertainment, but also reflect on how a viewing influenced them growing up and whether their impressions have changed over the years. Also, unlike an increasing number of podcasts, their refusal to bow to increasingly restrictive pc mores makes them appreciate the movies more than other hosts of podcasts, who seem to spend more time pointing out "offensive and outdated elements," than seeing why a movie works or doesn't. We need more individual thinkers like these hosts.

Bowersox10The BestHands down the best film review podcast out there. The crew goes super in-depth into amazing films and offers some of the best impersonations and genuine humor to every show. I absolutely love listening daily, the mood and atmosphere every episode is always light, fun, and hilarious. Every show is different in the best way, and I laugh out loud every listen.

TigerJonPretty Funny & EntertainingI stumbled upon these guys and gal a few weeks back while looking for a podcast review on An American Werewolf in London (Guys, you forgot to mention the moment David opens his eyes during the transformation and they are no longer human eyes...awesome!) and have been enjoying listening to them. They could tone back the language, but these two nit-wits (Dean & Matt) are so funny sometimes it doesn’t matter. Please do a review on Salem’s Lot. Keep up the good work.
-
CJ BolingOne of the best film/tv podcasts around!Well structured, insightful, and crudely funny. Worthy of a look!
-
BlankpsycheGreat TimesThe only serious thing about this podcast is how much the hosts love, hate, or love to hate the movies they review. Unapologetically untrained in "film reviewing", each episode is incredibly approachable. That little "E" means these boys (and girls) use bad words- if you're surprised by that, this is not the podcast for you. If you've ever had a rambling, from-the-hip conversation with friends about pretty much anything, you'll feel right at home alongside the LSG media crew.
-
Thatch331My SalvationI basically can’t sleep at night without putting one of these on.
-
Tony PiccoloHigh quality entertainment!!!The cast at LSG Media is simply amazing with their discussion of all of our favorite science fiction films of past and present! It's a great blend of in-depth analysis of the plot and story of films, the critique of the execution of the film from editing to musical score to acting and more, and thorough humor and enjoyment that doesn't make you feel like you are listening to Ben Stein read audio books. A definite listen and days and days and days and days and days and still more days and weeks more of content to listen to!!!! Definitely recommend!
-
Snarkystag😍🔥🤩🤪👍😊Wonderfully hilarious and insightful. Extremely entertaining to listen to. Definitely would recommend to others
-
HEisBOMBAAuthentic as SH*TThey unabashedly let their dork flags fly and the conversations feels real and organic. It’s like you’re in the room with them having a good old fashion rap session about all the movies that make nerds emit nocturnally. Good stuff.
-
Matthew from NJGreat Movie Podcast, Well Researched and Wildly FunnyDean, Josh, Matt and Jess are some of the funniest people I've listened to on a podcast and I've nearly busted a gut laughing a few times from their antics. Well worth a listen if you're into Science Fiction films, and if you're lucky, their dedicated membership will crowd-fund a movie like Braveheart or other non sci-fi films for them to review! excellent pod

LurchWurmUnmatched and Hilarious AuthenticityBeen listening to the podcast for 1-2 years. There are tons of podcasts out here of “some doods cracking jokes about movies (and culture)”... but the authenticity of this one is unmatched. The guys and gals of LSG media keep finding angles that I would’ve never dreamed of, and they’re always hilarious (and sometimes deep). Any time one of my buddies talks about some 80s or 90/ movie, I’m like “you gotta hear this!”, and 2 hours later, we’re carrying our giggling all the way to the bar, where it spills into fun takes on what you guys said. And then there are times where we’re going deep on some good movie that makes you think (e.g., Wind River), and we queue up your stuff, and we get to hear all the layers of why it’s good and why it’s deep. There aren’t many podcasts like this one out there! Must listen stuff!

CountGeek“I’ve heard things you people wouldn’t believe.”I first started listening to the Lsg crew way back when they covered Alien. I believe it was episode 21 or something like that, now they just topped 250 and still going strong! I was working 3rds at the time and I was mostly alone and needed some thing to help pass the time. I was hooked instantly not only because these guys were funny but they seemed to know some things when it came to movie culture that we all seem to love so dearly. Since then I haven’t missed an episode and can truly say I’ve made friends along the way. This community that surrounds this entertainment empire is truly filled with amazing people who all like the same things you do. It’s rare to listen to podcast and you feel like you’re with your friends talking about movies, this podcast makes you feel that way. The humor and knowledge mixture is spot on and never a dull moment. Find a movie you like in this list and give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Acdcfan24My new favorite podcastI got into this pod just recently. So glad I did. I love everything about this podcast it’s hilarious all of them are great. Plus my favorite subject is movies so it’s perfect. I also love the xfiles pod and game of throne and all the rest. Great job you guys and gal. Keep it up
-
drexulFantastic podcastFunny guys (and gal) who make me inevitably want to rewatch the movie they are discussing. Also Dean has the sexiest voice in podcasting. Recommended!
-
PeepeeBoy1A FUN SHOW FOR MOVIE FANS!I've been listening to these guys since 2016. It's a great show that now goes beyond the confines of sci-fi, regardless of its name. The comedy chops and personalities of the hosts makes this movie-centric podcast a step above others of it's ilk by bringing an actual film knowledge that allows the gang to dig deeper than just a scene-by-scene breakdown of each movie. Plus it's fun and full of laughs! Give it a listen!
-
The Original Drew HillAbout timeAlways love rewatching classic moves with my friends and I get the same satisfaction from these guys, way to go! However the host Jessica almost makes the podcast unbearable due to her lack of anything intelligent to say coupled with a valley girl stammer
-
keysbartenderVery funny and informativeDean,Matthew,Jessica, and Josh have a passion for movies. They do their homework for each episode. The topper is that frequently their riffs are the funniest things you will ever hear.
-
genericuser01150AwesomeThis podcast is everything a sci-fi nerd could want! I am but 12 years of age, but this humor and deep analysis of sci-fi films is great and I love it. Now, as a warning, explicit language, dirty jokes, etc. etc. but it’s still really funny if you’re mature enough. I would say more, but the purpose of this review is to inspire you people to listen, and I highly recommend trying it out.

pfofessorProfane adolescents have no classCould not make it past the first 2 minutes on the Seven Samurai episode. Crude, ignorant , profane, stoner gibberish had no class at all.
-
VivianMKGreat hosts, love the focus on individual episodes! What a great show for sci-fi lovers! Don't let the title fool you -- they cover TV as well! The hosts are all great -- Dean, Matthew, and Jessica are each funny and knowledgable in their own way, and I like that they can disagree and still be funny. A nice blend of humor and analysis without it getting TOO nerdy. It's definitely going to be in my rotation now!
-
Walkz4Javafunny & entertainingHappened upon Science Fiction Film Podcast by accident - down loaded a Riddick podcast and found it entertaining, informative, and funny as hell. I listen to this during my commute and the large catalog has kept me busy listening to Dean and his crew.
-
Can'tThinkOfName!Smart, fun, and sometimes outrageousI stumbled upon the LSG team when I was looking for a podcast to see if I was missing something redeeming about "Alien Covenant". What I found was a couple of hours of snarky gold. The team so obviously loves sci-fi and movies in general, they have brains (even Matthew), and they have great chemistry which has quickly made this a cornerstone of my listening. If you are easily offended then stay away but otherwise, this is a great podcast.
-
SciFiFan555F-bombs are Very DistractingContent-wise, the show gets high marks. They cover a ton of movies that I love, but they're doing themselves a disservice with all the F-bombs. I wish I could give the show a higher rating, but the language is distracting from the overall subject matter.
-
Whoopty freakin dooOne Star, UnsubscribeThis show is filled with sophomoric humor and absurd banter between the host & I wouldn’t have it any other way. They are very involved with the community that has sprung around there podcasts. If you like insightful conversation & laughing a lot this is for you. Just make sure you bring your Stetson!
-
IamjulierGreat Information & Lots Of PhlegmI really enjoyed their Matrix episode until the second host starts audibly clearing his throat and hacking while laughing. Since podcasts are usually consumed with headphones, I’m confident that I’m not the only one who was forced to abandon one of their episodes.. I’ll check to see if this was a one off occurrence.
