LDMN24One of my favesEdit Your Life is one of my favorite podcasts. Christine offers wisdom and practical advice that is always presented with kindness and acceptance and helping people find things that might help them, but without any sense of superiority. Highly recommend!

LA912This Podcast is my Go-ToI have been listening to Edit your Life for years and recommend it highly. I love the topics Christine selects and she often has really interesting and engaging guests as well. Recently she began her micro episodes which are bite sized and perfect to enjoy while (in my case) doing chores or walking the dog. I also like the seasonality of the topics, which make them event more enjoyable. For example, it’s July and episodes on summer entertaining or prioritizing self care are just what I am thinking about. Give it a listen!

nicezombiemommyLove this Whole Show - a perfect fit for a busy lifeI love learning all the little bits of life skills in this show and hearing the discussion unfold on everyday challenges. She tackles the same problems I have with a calm voice that reminds me to use compassion and acceptance with small actions to make things better. And if Christine needs help, then it’s okay that I need help with the house and kids and family. I replay some episodes to hear her voice remind me to take a deep breath and a small step. I find some of my favorite new shows and books from these interviews …. Give a couple of these a try and you will see.

LBF2Adore Christine, adore this show!If I can’t have Christine Koh in the passenger seat, driving around with me while giving me all of her thoughtful, encouraging, and honest advice all day long, I will take the podcast as the next best thing. There is always so much to learn from the host and her guests, and I always come away feeling like I heard the very thing I needed to hear.

Jennifer #3The absolute best!I cannot tell you how much I look forward to the enormous pleasure of listening to Edit Your Life each week. Christine Koh has a wonderful voice that I find very calming. Her topics and guests are very well chosen and thoughtful. She is an excellent interviewer, asking terrific and genuinely curious questions. Her solo episodes (including her pop-in mini-edits) are equally, if not more compelling, offering a lovely take on small change and “everyday micro-delights”. I enjoy each episode so, so much. Christine and her podcast help me to see the both the thorny questions and the everyday minutiae of life as something more expansive and maybe even sacred.
-
MelF522Brilliant Advice from a Smart WomanI came over to the podcast due to Christine’s popular Substack, and the expert advice continues. Christine makes me see the world in a new way, and I walked away from my first episode with things I could put into action immediately.

zakurundoA Goldilocks podcast about what matters most!I’ve tuned into several episodes of Edit Your Life and I’ve quickly become a fan. I call it my ‘Goldilocks’ podcast because—for me—it has that ‘just right’ mix of ‘expert insights’ AND the ‘real life actions’ we can all take toward shaping a life that more closely aligns to what we want. As well, it’s a ’just right’ window of time—lots to glean from each episode…without biting into my schedule too hard! I particularly loved the episode with Ellen Galinski—who has just released a new book on adolescent development. I leaned so much about the gap between the teenage brain’s risk assessment and self-regulation systems—and WHY this is so important as teens pivot outward to face the challenges of the wider world! And I smiled to myself as they talked about how we may feel like chauffeurs, but that ‘car time’ with teens seems to be the ‘just right’ place for many of our teens to open up and share a bit. Thanks Christine for continuing to bring on such excellent guests—and designing/navigating that Goldilocks balance of time, insight and practically for your listeners.

ZlassenpEqually enjoyable if you’re child-free!I was wary because I don’t have kids and didn’t know how parent-focused the episodes would be - but there is a ton of gold in this pod, and Christine (and Asha!) are so soothing. I love the interviews, all of the discussions and micro-tips…can’t stop, won’t stop! I just skip the kid-focused episodes :)

mtnurbanistLike talking with a best friendI recommend Edit Your Life to the parents and humans in my life all the time. Past episodes with Christine and Asha are like listening in to a conversation between my own friends. I learn so much from their easy and thoughtful conversations— it’s enlightening. I fee like I’ve become more empathetic with my kids and in life because of this podcast. The latest episodes with Christine are like having a chat with a friend over coffee. Sanders1745We all need more Christine!I have been listening to this podcast for years and sort of ashamed I am just now coming to rate and review it. I enjoyed it while it was Christine and Asha – they had a great companionship that made for a good listen. Now that it is just Christine and an occasional guest, I feel even more connected – maybe I feel like it is a discussion between the 2 of us now? I relate to Christine’s embracing her academic and creative pursuits, her less than a fun time upbringing, and her balance of wanting to get into the theory of why things get in our way, but also offering practical solutions. This is one of the few podcasts that I listen to the day it drops. We all need more Christine in our lives!

DMCOSDCame for the Great Decluttering/Organization Tips, Stayed for the WarmthI recently began listening to Edit Your Life, and I enjoy the down-to-earth tone and the exchanges between Christine and Asha. This podcast has been perhaps unexpectedly valuable to me, because I had not realized until I listened to the episode about the KonMari Method, is that I had been delayed from making progress on decluttering because Maria Kondo, in all her good intentions and expertise, had proclaimed in her books, Netflix shows, and articles, that unless I was willing to go all-in with her method, that I was doomed to fail at tidying up/decluttering my life. In come Christine and Asha, with a sincere commentary on the KonMari Method, and after listening to that episode plus the episode with the guest who is an editor at Real Simple who wrote Never Too Busy to Declutter, plus the episode on decluttering hacks, I realized that 5 minutes when I can grab it can get a lot done. Indeed it has. My house is less cluttered in many different places, and I feel an energy building toward decluttering that is much more positive and less dread-filled than how I felt about trying to find time to do the prescribed KonMari Method. Yes, I may try some version of the KonMari Method at some point, but right now I am making progress and chipping away, and it feels a lot more realistic and less burdensome. So thank you, Christine and Asha, for offering a bevy of tips and advice. Your podcast has been helpful and enjoyable, too.

A SuperPlusIt’s nice to hear from friendsDiscovered this podcast not long ago and it’s been nice to have a new-to-me podcast with a large back catalogue. I enjoy Asha and Christine’s friendship- they are very genuine with each other. I like the idea of taking things out of my sometimes cluttered-feeling life in favor of more intentional decisions, and this show reminds me of ways to stay on track. I don’t have kids but do have children in my life, so appreciate the tips about relating to kids and what parents might be going through.
-
woke listenerRefreshing and kindLove this podcast. Christine and Asha are so relatable. They are authentic and offer fantastic, no-nonsense approaches to simplifying life and approaching challenges with curiosity. Listening is like sitting down to coffee with old friends.
-
FayeGallagherNot HelpfulVery much a waste of time, just them talking about themselves. Nothing inspiring or incitful nor educational.
-
Dpippen👏👏👏This podcast keeps me focused on my goals for simplifying and streamlining this year. Every time I implement something, I feel so empowered!
-
Meg1620Used to not miss an episodeNow I tend to skip completely. There is less actual advice but now it's just back and forth about how great they are at being moms and their work/home life. I'm glad they are proud of themselves but I don't really need to hear it all podcast long.
-
a good girlllUgh!Not worth any of your time!
-
Lee$ha“Ya know”I think the content could be really great, but I had to stop listening on my very first attempt after the host kept saying “ya know” every fourth word and it started driving me nuts.

CorinneMC05Love the smart and thoughtful conversations!During the pandemic, to relieve stress and take time for myself, I try to take walks around the neighborhood and listen to podcasts. Edit Your Life is one of my go to podcasts! I love all the thoughtful and honest conversations on a diverse array of topics. I truly love that Christine and Asha are vulnerable and open with their listeners. I always love when I see a new episode has dropped. Thank you for helping me get through this crazy time!!

Meaghan RPNew year, new podcastI discovered this podcast as I closed out 2020 and found myself longing for the company of other women (professionals and parents) wrestling with the same practical and existential questions I am wrestling with - ever more so during the pandemic. I have been binge-listening and appreciate Asha and Christine’s calming approach to so many of life’s challenges - all of which occupy so much headspace in the best of times, but especially almost a year into quarantine. I recommend this to anyone trying to find some grounding and good company; this feels like the best chats over coffee-warm, friendly, helpful and reassuring.

kar224Thank you!I found this podcast when Christine was interviewed on 10 Things to Tell You. Christine and Asha are a great duo. As a working mom I love their show. They talk about all the topics I need support on- feeding my kids, self care, taking care of my home and surviving pandemic as a working mom. Christine and Asha- thank you for your words and wisdom. You two have been a comfort during this time.
